Transient Learning is a project to create spaces of learning and exchange that reach new museum audiences through storytelling. In collaboration with the Museum of Modern art (mumok) Vienna, this highly intersectional, queer and multilingual approach to arts education is a collaboration between mumok (Museum of Modern Art in Vienna) and Hint Wien.

Human rights activists, LGBTQIA+ writers, and members of grassroots initiatives and women-led organizations contribute to the development of arts education programming at mumok through Transient Learning. The programme strives to reflect on the visualisations of a wide range of experiences: from the fleeting reflections to the deeply personal and strikingly monumental.

The programme was begun as part of the Adam Pendleton exhibition ‘Blackness, White, and Light’ which took place at the mumok February 2023- January 2024.
