Our projects are initiated, developed and led by highly intersectional LGBTQIA+ people living in Vienna.

Activities include:

  • Queer Writers Circle ViennaMonthly Queer Writers Meetings. Highly intersectional, queer and multilingual writers support, share and create. All welcome.
  • Queer Writers Circle Vienna ⎪Youth Initiative Highly intersectional, queer writer initiatives by the youth of the Queer writers Circle Vienna; supported by storytelling and mental health coaches. By the youth, for everyone.
  • Activate Queer Youth ClubMonthly queer youth support club meetings in a highly intersectional and multilingual setting. In collaboration with Villa Vida.
  • DiasporARTSProject bringing together artists, creatives, arts and culture educators, and creative social enterprises of African, South Asian and mixed diasporas. In collaboration with AQUAFI, our partners in Bordeaux, France.
  • Transient LearningProject to create spaces of learning and exchange that reach new museum audiences through storytelling. In collaboration with the Museum of Modern art (mumok) Vienna.
  • Visual Philosopies of Human RightsProject to introduce museum tours that explore art works and exhibitions from a human rights perspective. In collaboration with the Museum of Modern Art (mumok) Vienna, and the Masters of Arts in Applied Human Rights programme (University of Applied Arts, Vienna).
  • Poetry for PrideAnnual, highly intersectional, queer and multilingual poetry performance event, which is organised during Vienna Pride Month.
  • Poetic IntuitionAnnual, highly intersectional, queer and multilingual storytelling festival. The 3 day festival brings storytellers from the Queer Writers Circle and Queer Writers Circle⎪Youth Initiative, together with international talents, arts education institutions and mental health coaches to perform, write and reimagine.
  • Verlag Triple Threat WOW PublishingA publisher established by Hint Wien to support and distribute highly intersectional, queer and multilingual stories, as well as raise the profiles of intersectional queer writers through collaborations with independent bookstores.
  • Queer Vienna Mutual Aid FundAn initiative to encourage social-economic solidarity across diverse queer communities in Vienna.

We believe that by working collaboratively to harness the power of highly intersectional queer centered and multilingual storytelling; we can create a world where diverse queer voices are present, heard, published and celebrated.
